The history of these instruments began in 1986 in the workshop of H. P. Springer in Pfaffenhofen, where he sought to implement his many good ideas in terms of craftsmanship.
From the beginning, he was assisted by three outstanding oboists
- Günther Zorn, solo oboe, Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin,
- Klaus-Peter Gütz, solo oboe, Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra,
- Christoph Hartmann, Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra
and last but not least Claus Hipp as sponsor and enthusiastic amateur oboist.
